A piece of night sky at your window. Light that dances when the sun appears.

The crescent moon is one of the oldest symbols in human history. It represents the unconscious, the in-between spaces, the soft hours between day and night. The Lunar Catch brings it into your home – as a delicate brass ornament that floats in your window and transforms incoming sunlight into a dance of rainbow light points.

As soon as the sun shines through the crystal glass pendants, the rays break into the complete color spectrum and slowly wander through your room. Across the walls. Across the floor. Across your skin. Some days they are everywhere. On others, only fleetingly. Always different, never random.

Two variants, two moods

Variant Length Design Character
Moon Eyes 33 cm Crescent moon with sun-eye ornament, several crystal balls on a delicate chain Rich in detail, mystical, full of symbolism – the eye in the moon as a homage to ancient protective symbols. An object that reveals itself upon closer inspection.
Tipped Bead 38 cm Crescent moon, brass ring with floating crystal ball, hanging crystal tip below Clear, minimalist, architectural. For those who love reduced forms – a geometric object with meditative calm.

How the light works

The cut K9 crystal glass pendants (the highest quality level for optical crystals) capture incoming sunlight and break it down into all colors of the spectrum. Small rainbows wander through your room, changing their position with the sun's altitude. In the morning they dance in one direction, in the afternoon in another.

Hang the Lunar Catch where the sun shines in – preferably on south, east, or west-facing windows. Above the bed, at your desk, in the bathroom, next to the entrance. Wherever you want to remember the soft hours.

Rituals with your Lunar Catch

Many consciously hang a suncatcher during the new moon phase or full moon, as a sign of a new beginning or an intention. Others choose a place they pass daily – each rainbow dance then becomes a small invitation to mindfulness. A reminder to take a deep breath.

Care

Over time, the brass will develop a slight patina – this is part of the natural aging process and makes each piece more unique. If you want to maintain the original shine, occasionally polish the brass with a soft cloth. Clean the crystal glass pendants with a slightly damp microfiber cloth if necessary. Do not use cleaning agents.

Good to know

The Lunar Catch is a decorative and light object. The pendants are made of high-quality K9 crystal glass, not natural rock crystal. It is an aesthetic object for your home – not a healing stone or energy object.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the rainbow effect work?

The crystal glass refracts incoming sunlight into its spectral colors – like a prism. In direct sunlight, dancing colored dots appear on walls, floors and ceiling. With moving air, the dots wander.

What's the difference from a mobile?

A mobile moves mechanically, a sun catcher works with light. The Lunar Catch combines both – brass ornament as a calm shape, crystal glass as a moving light element.

What does the crescent moon symbolize?

In many traditions, the crescent moon stands for the unconscious, intuition and in-between spaces – between day and night, action and rest. It symbolizes gentle hours and inner perception.
